Politicians meet

former presidents Didier Ratsiraka, Marc Ravalomanana and Albert Zafy, who are key persons of the political crisis in the country.

Without giving the venue and the date of the summit, FFKM president Bishop Odon Razanakolona told a Press conference held yesterday morning that all politicians should make efforts to realise this meeting.

The bishop said it is a process of reconciliation between the big four because only reconciliation between them will peacefully resolve the current political crisis in the Indian Ocean island country.

The summit was one of the decisions taken by a political dialogue organised by the FFKM with hundreds of Malagasy politicians early in May.

This political dialogue also led to consensus that “the current transition should be dissolved and a new roadmap will be written to solve the current political crisis.”

The FFKM is influential in the country because it has managed to resolve the political crisis in 1991 and in 2002. — Xinhua.
