A POOL game in Battlefields ended in death after two men allegedly teamed up to savagely assault and stab a teenager during a heated argument.
Police are now searching for Thembelani Dube (32) and Hlonipani Dube, both of Siakataza Village in Manoti, Gokwe, in connection with the murder of Takudzwa Sibanda (19).
Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the pair allegedly took turns beating the victim before finishing him off with a knife.
“The suspects took turns to assault the victim, Takudzwa Sibanda, with a snooker stick before stabbing him all over the body with a knife after an argument while playing pool,” said Comm Nyathi.
The teen died on the spot.
Comm Nyathi urged anyone with leads to come forward.
“Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” he said.
