Popular comedian Freddy Manjalima, popularly known as Kapfupi, says he ate his baby’s poo in a fit of rage during an altercation with his wife, Mai Nga.
Kapfupi told H-Metro this was his bizarre way of trying to calm himself down after a bitter argument with his wife.
He even revealed that he almost killed himself.
Kapfupi was responding to sensational claims made by Mai Nga on a local podcast, where he was described as an alcoholic who had gone to the extreme extent of eating his baby’s poo.
“He went and lifted the kids’ pot . . . he took the poo of the kid using his hand and ate it,” said Mai Nga.
“I have the video in my phone. He said he wanted to show me that he was s**t.”
Mai Nga said she could not understand how a normal human being could act in such a weird manner.
She said things were never the same for the couple after the bizarre incident.
H-Metro, the publication that initially broke the story that Kapfupi and Mai Nga’s marriage had collapsed, contacted the comedian to respond to the sensational claims made by his estranged wife. — HMetro

Mpopoma teacher rapes 19-year-old learner
A 40-year-old teacher from Mpopoma was dragged to court for allegedly raping his 19-year-old learner on three occasions.
Stonehouse Maphosa recently appeared before Western Commonage regional magistrate Pasipanodya Maturure facing three counts of rape.
The State, represented by Christina Manyika, said Maphosa taught the complainant at Msiteli High School.
The court heard that trouble began in August this year when he allegedly asked for her cellphone during school hours, dialled his number into it and returned it to her.
Later that day, he called her, asking if she was free, but she told him she was busy.
On another afternoon, he phoned again and directed her to his place of residence.
Upon arrival, he popped popcorn for her, but she refused to eat.
Manyika told the court that he fed her a bit, lifted her onto the sink, told her to close her eyes and kissed and hugged her.
She jumped down and told him she was going home and he accompanied her.
The court heard that on yet a different day, he called again and invited her over.
When she arrived, he asked her what she wanted to eat but she declined.
He allegedly carried her to the bedroom and had sexual intercourse with her without her consent.
On another count, the court heard that he called her again on another date in August and she went to his place.
She sat on a kitchen chair but he lifted her to his bedroom, where he allegedly raped her again with protection and without consent.
On the third count, Manyika said, he called her again during the same month and she went to his house.
After refusing food, the complainant was taken to the bedroom where the accused allegedly forced her to bend over and raped her with protection.
On November 11, police received a tip-off that the complainant had reported the abuse to the school and nothing had been done.
Police visited Msiteli High School on November 12, interviewed the learner and arrested the teacher.
The victim was referred to Mpilo Central Hospital for medical examination. — The Herald

Serial killer on the loose after slaughtering five family members
The killing of five members of the same family — a mother, her two children and two grandchildren — has put Guruve in the spotlight amid reports that 17 people have been murdered in cold blood in the area this year.
Others claim the actual number of people who have been murdered is 14.
This has set tongues wagging.
But how has this previously quiet area turned into a killing field?
Is this the work of a serial killer or group of serial killers?
Grace Zvitsva (66), her daughter Loice Chiringaushe (37) and her two grandchildren — Takudzwa Kariva (5) and Tatenda Chirenje (2) — were killed on one night, at Plot 9, One Farm, in Guruve.
Tendai Zvitsva (40) also died after succumbing to injuries he sustained during the attack.
It could have been worse.
Five other family members were unharmed even though they were sleeping in another room at the time of the brutal attack.
Police have since named Anymore Zvitsva, who shares the same surname with the victims, as a suspect.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is currently investigating a horrific multiple murder that transpired on the night of December 11, 2025, at Plot 9, Ona Farm, in Guruve,” police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said in a statement.
“The victims have been identified as Grace Zvitsva, 66, Loice Chiringaushe, 37, Takudzwa Kariva, 5, Tatenda Chirenje, 2, and Tendai Zvitsva, 40.
“Investigations revealed that a neighbour was awakened by noise emanating from the victims’ homestead and responded promptly.
“Upon arrival, the neighbour, who was in the company of two villagers, observed bloodstains at the kitchen doorstep and found Tendai Zvitsva unconscious and bleeding profusely with deep cuts on the chest.
Further inspection revealed bloodstains around the homestead, with the bodies of Grace Zvitsva, Loice Chiringaushe, Takudzwa Kariva and Tatenda Chirenje lying in the main bedroom.” — The Herald
