POSB empowers SMEs in Bulawayo with business seminar

THE Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) is hosting a business seminar this Friday morning in Bulawayo, to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with the knowledge and skills required to access local and global markets.

The event, themed “Driving Inclusive Growth, Unlocking SMEs Potential,” has gathered business owners and entrepreneurs from diverse industries to exchange insights and expertise.

Business owners and start-ups are being taken through a series of talks on key topics such as licensing, regulation, financial solutions, market identification, entrepreneurial development, and investment.

Industry experts from organizations including ZimTrade, POSB, City of Bulawayo, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, financial consultants and Zimbabwe Revenue Authority are delivering keynote addresses, providing valuable insights and practical advice.

The seminar aims to empower SMEs with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in today’s competitive business environment. Participants are set to gain valuable insights into the latest trends in export markets and export value chains, as well as strategies for identifying new markets and opportunities.

By providing a platform for SMEs to network and learn from industry experts, POSB has committed to supporting the growth and development of small businesses in the city. The seminar is seen as a timely initiative, given the important role SMEs play in driving economic growth and creating jobs.
