PREPARATIONS for the Marondera Business Expo set for Friday, August 28, 2026 are now at an advanced stage.
The expo will give businesses in Marondera a platform to showcase their products and services. The expo is being jointly organised by the Marondera Urban Business Association and the Marondera Municipality.
Marondera Urban Business Association is aiming to use the expo to market investment opportunities in the Mashonaland East provincial capital.
In an interview with Zimpapers in Marondera today, chairperson of the Marondera Urban Business Association, Mr Carlos Pindirire, said the preparations are at an advanced stage, adding that more than 120 companies and organisations have shown interest in showcasing their goods and services on this day.
“This is our Second Edition of the Business Expo in Marondera district, to be held on Friday this week. As we speak, Marondera Municipality is busy with preparations, which include tidying up the venue,” he said.
“We have a number of companies that have shown interest in this Second Edition. Companies will be showcasing different products and services and new products will also be introduced in the market. Bigger companies as well as small and medium enterprises will be here, sharing knowledge on products and services.”
He added that mobile campaigns to raise awareness of the event among residents will start tomorrow.
“We have companies like Surrey, Proton, Spar and banks who will be showcasing. We are expecting more participants.”
