President appoints two Deputy Ministers

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has appointed Cde Kiven Mutimbanyoka and Fred Moyo as Deputy Ministers.

In a statement last night, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Martin Rushwaya said the appointments are in line with Section 104 (2) of the Constitution.

Cde Mutimbanyoka was appointed Deputy Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, while Cde Moyo was named Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development.

“In terms of Section 104, subsection (2) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has appointed Mutimbanyoka Kiven, MP, Deputy Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, and Moyo Fred, MP, Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development,” he said.

The appointments take effect immediately and are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the Government leadership and enhance service delivery across key sectors of the economy.
