President Mnangagwa has today commissioned four blocks of flats that will be allocated to 48 families that were affected by flash floods in Budiriro in 2021.

It was a moment of joy when the Head of State and Government presented symbolic keys to one of the beneficiaries.
In his keynote address, President Mnangagwa described the project as a milestone achieved by the Second Republic in the provision of housing and social amenities.

“As you are aware, shelter is a basic human right need to which the Government is mandated to ensure that every Zimbabwean has access,” said President Mnangagwa.
“These flats epitomize my Government’s commitment to ensure access to shelter, property rights as well as the right to equal protection.”
