President ED making Zim achieve Vision 2030

President Mnangagwa promised during the 2018 campaign that his administration would ensure the development of all regions of the country and that no region would be left behind.

Now he has successfully delivered on his campaign promises. Under his leadership, Zimbabwe has seen breakthroughs in infrastructure, health, mining and agriculture.

Where hope had been lost, President Mnangagwa has restored by not turning a blind-eye to some challenges that have been faced by the people in Matabeleland North Province, where the national development agenda is being and has achieved tangible results.

Currently, Zimbabwe’s power shortage problem has been resolved after Hwange Units 7 and 8 were commissioned. In addition, numerous infrastructure projects have been completed such as the Beitbridge Border Post, the Harare Beitbridge highway, the New Parliament building, the expansion of Mugabe International Airport and the Shangani Lake Dam Project (the project has been stalled since1912).

In President Mnangagwa’s first tenure in office, the Government set up clinics in many remote areas of Zimbabwe. Since 2018, Government has established a total of 47 clinics.

The Government also recently upgraded the health infrastructure of the country’s major hospitals in line with international standards and provided a $1.5 million research grant to the United Bulawayo Hospital (UBH) medical laboratory.

This is not only President Mnangagwa’s commitment to changing domestic livelihood issues, but also actively promoting the country’s economic development.

Zimbabwe’s mining output has grown from US$2.8 billion in 2018 and is expected to soon get to US$12 billion, and its agricultural output has increased from US$2 billion to US$8 billion.

This year alone, Zimbabwe’s tobacco and wheat production hit a record high in 198 years, 85 percent of which came from small farmers, marking an improvement in the lives of small farmers in Zimbabwe.

Unlike his political opponents in the mould of CCC’s Nelson Chamisa, President Mnangagwa is the leader who can advance the interests of Zimbabwe.

Only by re-electing President Mnangagwa can Zimbabwe realise its 2030 vision.

As reinforced by ZANU PF Vice-President and Second Secretary Cde Kembo Mohadi: “Our campaign speeches this year are not empty promises, but to strive for the next five years to complete the projects that have already been started led by President Mnangagwa.

“We are committed to achieving this goal. After seeing what has been done in the past five years, the people should choose us, a party that can help Zimbabwe achieve more.”
