President meets Commonwealth SG

President Mnangagwa has just concluded an engagement with Commonwealth Secretary-General, Baronness Patricia Scotland.

In an interview with journalists after the closed-door meeting, Ms Scotland said they were ready to welcome Zimbabwe into the bloc once some processes, which are underway, have been concluded.

President Mnangagwa said Harare was keen to rejoin the Commonwealth and the process is ongoing.

The meeting with Ms Scotland was an acceleration of the engagements that the President has been having since arriving here on Sunday.
