President Mnangagwa approves top appointments at Zimbabwe Independent Complaints Commission

In a decisive m ove to bolster the leadership of the Zimbabwe Independent Complaints Commission (ZICC), President Mnangagwa has given his seal of approval to a series of high-profile appointments and promotions that take effect immediately.

At the helm of these changes, Ms Netsai Cassandra Chivake has been appointed as the executive secretary of ZICC, marking a new chapter for the oversight body.

Known for her strategic acumen and dedication to public accountability, Ms Chivake is expected to steer the commission into a new era of robust governance.

Meanwhile, the President has elevated Mr Tichafanana Sithole to the position of deputy executive secretary for operations.

Mr Sithole, a seasoned administrator with a reputation for operational excellence, is poised to streamline the commission’s day-to-day activities.

Rounding off the leadership reshuffle, Mr Tafara Chirambira has been promoted to deputy executive secretary for legal services, corporate affairs, and governance.

With his extensive legal expertise and a sharp focus on institutional integrity, Mr Chirambira is set to fortify the commission’s governance framework.
