President Mnangagwa has today delivered a report to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec) containing his views about the delimitation report compiled by the election management body.

Last week President Mnangagwa delivered a report compiled by Parliament detailing the legislative body’s views on the constituency and ward boundaries set to be used in the forthcoming harmonised election expected to be held this year.

Zec is expected to study the reports as it prepares its final report that will be gazetted before it is implemented.

Zec chairperson Justice Priscilla Chigumba received the report at a brief function held at State House in Harare today and committed to thoroughly study it before producing a final one.

In December last year, the election management body submitted its preliminary delimitation report to President Mnangagwa which has since been tabled before Parliament for debate before the legislative body produced its report.
