President Mnangagwa expresses condolences to Kenya following the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga

President Mnangagwa has sent condolences to his Kenyan counterpart President William Ruto and the people of Kenya following the death of former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

Mr Odinga died on October 15. Mr Odinga is viewed as a towering figure in Kenyan politics, known for his unwavering commitment to the development of Kenya.

“On behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Zimbabwe, my family and indeed my own behalf, I extend to you, Your Excellency and the bereaved Odinga family, our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences,” said President Mnangagwa.

“The late former Prime Minister will be remembered for his distinguished service to the development of Kenya. We will forever cherish Mr Odinga”s commitment to our shared regional and continental developmental aspirations.”
