President Mnangagwa is now on his way back to Zimbabwe after attending Mozambique’s 50th independence celebrations.

He was seen off at the Maputo International Airport by Zimbabwean Ambassador to Mozambique Victor Matemadanda and Mozambican officials.

Speaking to the media just before boarding, President Mnangagwa described Zimbabwe and Mozambique as twins.

“Well, Mozambique and Zimbabwe are like twins,” he said.

“What affects them will affect us, and what affects Zimbabwe will affect Mozambique.”

Several Heads of State and former Presidents were also part of the celebrations.
