Russia’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Nikolai Krasilnikov, today paid a courtesy call on President Mnangagwa at State House in Harare.

In an interview after a closed-door meeting with President Mnangagwa, Ambassador Krasilnikov said relations between Harare and Moscow continue to strengthen.

This followed Presidents Mnangagwa and Putin’s meeting for bilateral discussions on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa summit in July.

“President Mnangagwa gave me an excellent opportunity to confirm the commitment of my country to enhancing fruitful cooperation with Zimbabwe in various spheres and sectors in the bilateral and multilateral dimensions,” he said.
