President Mnangagwa returns from AU Summit

President Mnangagwa has returned home after attending the African Union’s 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government Summit.

He was welcomed at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by Vice Presidents Dr Constantino Chiwenga and Dr Kembo Mohadi, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Zhemu Soda, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry Mr Nick Mangwana, Service Chiefs and Senior Government officials.

President Mnangagwa addressed the AU Summit and met several leaders on the sidelines of the meeting to discuss bilateral issues.

Burundian leader, President Évariste Ndayishimiye, assumed the AU Chairmanship, taking over from his Angolan counterpart, President João Lourenço.
