President Mnangagwa to Launch 2024 Zimbabwe Export Week in Bulawayo

BULAWAYO, Zimbabwe – Today, His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa will officially inaugurate the 2024 Zimbabwe Export Week at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre. The event, hosted by ZimTrade, marks a significant gathering aimed at boosting the country’s export sector.

ZimTrade, a partnership formed in 1991 between the Government and private sector, plays a pivotal role in trade development and promotion in Zimbabwe.

 

This year’s Export Week is themed “Qala | Tanga | Start,” emphasising the need for renewed focus and innovation within the export industry.

The event is expected to attract over 250 participants, including key business leaders and policymakers, who will engage in discussions to address mutual interests and explore growth opportunities in the export market.

The initiative aligns with the national Vision 2030, which aims to enhance Zimbabwe’s economic standing through increased trade and export capabilities.
