PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is today expected to preside over a Zanu PF Politburo meeting, which will discuss several issues affecting the party and the economy.
The meeting is expected to receive several reports from different arms of the party including the National Political Commissariat, about the state of the party.
They include reports on parliamentary and local authority by-elections held recently in which the revolutionary party prevailed and the election of the Women’s League’s Provincial chairlady for Manicaland Province.
The party has also been conducting a cell verification exercise and the Politburo will be briefed on how it has unfolded, given the integral role that the cell plays in anchoring the party.
Other issues that are expected to come up for discussions are preparations for the party’s Annual People’s Conference to be held in Manicaland Province.
Several members of the Politburo have since started arriving at the party headquarters, the venue of the meeting.
