President pays tribute to fallen heroes in Belarus

President Mnangagwa this morning toured a thriving dairy company in the Belarusian town of Brest as well as the Brest Hero Fortress, where he laid a wreath in memory of fallen soldiers who passed away during the Second World War in defence of their motherland.

The President, who was accompanied by Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Karenkevick Viktor Milkhallovich, made a brief stop at the Savushikin dairy company that has a state-of-the-art plant and expressed his desire for the project to be replicated back home.

Later on, the President visited the historic Brest Hero Fortress, where he said it is important to always be conscious of the past and respect fallen heroes who paid the ultimate price to liberate their countries.
