President to commission Heart Stadium

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa is this morning set to officially open Prophet Walter Magaya’s Heart Stadium in Waterfalls.

The 5000-seater stadium was built over the past two months and will be expected to host CAF matches.

And all roads lead to the PHD hotel this morning where President Mnangagwa will commission the newly-built state-of-the-art facility.

Hundreds of football stakeholders are also expected to attend the opening ceremony of the venue that boasts of modern facilities that include a suspended pitch.

 

It is the first stadium in this country with a hall of fame roll, a directors’ box and “dug-out” dugouts.

A lot of other festivities are also lined up at the commissioning of this compact stadium which is fully installed with bucket seats.
