President Mnangagwa is today expected to officially open renowned financial institution Ecobank Zimbabwe’s new head office in Borrowdale, Harare, highlighting a significant investment by the institution in Zimbabwe’s financial sector.
The multi-purpose head office reinforces the pan-African bank’s long-term commitment to supporting Zimbabwe’s financial prosperity, businesses, trade and economic growth.
Various dignitaries, including Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube; Minister of State for Harare Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Senator Charles Tawengwa; Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume, banking executives, captains of industry, businesspersons and diplomats accredited to Zimbabwe, among others, are already at the venue.

The Ecobank project created hundreds of jobs while prioritising local contractors and locally sourced construction materials.
The facility incorporates sustainable materials, high-performance glazing and solar photovoltaic systems, among other features.
