
President Mnangagwa is this morning expected to preside over the swearing-in of Deputy Ministers Albert Mavunga and Caleb Makwiranzou, as well as Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Itai Ndudzo.

The three were appointed recently.

Mr Mavunga was appointed Deputy Minister of Local Government and Public Works responsible for Local Authorities and Traditional Leadership, while Mr Makwiranzou was appointed Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development responsible for Oil and Gas Research.

The President will also swear in Chief Magistrate, Mrs Vongai Guwuriro, as a member of the Judicial Service Commission.

The Head of State and Government will go on to swear in Commissioner Addelis Sibutha to the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission and Commissioner Ozias Machaya Hove to sit in the Zimbabwe Lands Commission.

Ministers take oath




The swearing-in has just started with Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Itai Ndudzo being the first to take oath, followed by the two Deputy Ministers.

President Mnangagwa is flanked by Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi and Chief Secretary in the Office of The President and Cabinet, Dr Martin Rushwaya.
