Prince Dube hits top form in Tanzania

WARRIORS forward Prince Dube is in great form in the 2024-2025 Tanzanian Premier League where he has found the back of the net 13 times.

In Tanzania, Dube (28), a former Highlanders player, turns out for Young Africans SC where he is in his debut season.

He joined Young Africans SC mid last year on a two-year contract after his divorce with Azam FC.

The speedy forward is leading top goal scorer in the Tanzanian League.

In addition to his league exploits, Dube, who is fondly known as Mgadafi, has contributed meaningfully in other competitions.

“It’s always pleasing to do well for your club. I will continue working hard. I’m grateful to my teammates and the coaches for the support,” said Dube.

He has scored three goals in the 2024-25 CAF Champions League, including a crucial equaliser in stoppage time against TP Mazembe on December 15, 2024, and a goal in the first leg against Commercial Bank of Ethiopia FC.

Across all competitions this season, the Zimbabwe international has reportedly been involved in 22 goals in 30 matches.

At Azam FC, Dube played alongside his ex-Bosso teammate Bruce Kangwa who is now in the books of CAPS United.

Azam FC also provided home to other Zimbabwean player Never Tigere, Tafadzwa Kutinyu and Francisco Zvikumbawire.
