ZIMBABWEAN export Prince Dube’s stock is rising as he made a sensational return to form when he scored in successive matches for Tanzanian side Azam, exploits that have solidified his status as a dependable goal poacher.

The former Highlanders player seems to have again proved that he was the right buy for Azam as he led the Chamazi Millionaires to victory in the last two games.
He was in the score sheet when Azam beat Simba SC last Thursday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium. His 35th minute strike against Simba SC was enough to hand his team the much deserved win.
Mgadafi, as Dube is affectionately known, went to hit the back of the net on Sunday when Azam won over Ihefu.
Azam are third on the Tanzanian Premier League with 17 points having won five, drawn two and lost the same number from the nine matches they have played so far this season. Young Africans are on top of the log followed by Simba.

Dube’s career has been derailed by injuries but the striker appears to be back in form. In his first season in Tanzania, he found the back of the net 14 times and slightly missed out on the Golden Boot gong. John Bocco of Simba won the accolade with 16 goals while his teammate Chris Mugalu found the target 15 times that season. — innocentskizoe
