United States-based gospel musician Prince Phiri has struck gold with his latest single, Uyingcwele Baba, which has climbed to the top of the Skyz Metro FM Gospel Top 10 chart this week.

The song is a worship piece expressing gratitude and reverence to God for His continued grace.

Uyingcwele Baba has enjoyed a steady rise on the charts. Just three weeks ago, it debuted at number four before climbing to number two last week, eventually claiming the top spot.

“I was already grateful for the love and support it was receiving. Then last week, seeing it rise to number two gave me so much hope and excitement. And now, this week, reaching number one, it feels like a true blessing.

“This journey has shown me the power of faith, consistency, and the incredible support of people who believe in what I’m doing. I want to sincerely thank all my friends, supporters, and everyone who took the time to vote,” said Phiri.

He attributed the song’s success to the unwavering support from his followers.

“Every vote, every share, every word of encouragement, it all made a difference. This is not just my win, it belongs to all of us. I’m grateful, humbled, and motivated to keep creating music that uplifts, inspires, and brings people closer to God. More music is coming,” he said.

Phiri encouraged fans to continue supporting his work through various digital platforms.
