PRODUCERS have dropped a unifying riddim dubbed ‘Bambazonke’, which features both upcoming and established ZimDancehall artists.
A Dem Litrik and Munyaradzi ‘DJ Tecniks’ Mukonda worked together through their recording labels, Afro Vision and Still We Rise, to produce the riddim.
Running under the theme, ‘Dancehall Heat Meets Divine Purpose’, the riddim is already making waves in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Litrik, who is now based in South Africa, has caught the attention of several artists.
Both producers have a history in promoting upcoming artists
In an interview, A Dem Litrik said the Bambazonke Riddim is more than just a musical compilation.
“It’s a movement to inspire unity, creativity and spiritual awakening through music.
“This project brings together a dynamic roster of talented artists to deliver pure fire in dancehall and reggae grooves.
“Through projects like Bambazonke Riddim, we are inviting gospel artists into the reggae and dancehall space to carry messages of light and hope into new sound dimensions.”
Litrik, who has also become a spiritual leader, said the riddim will also give an opportunity to gospel chanters.
“We are now extending this riddim platform to gospel musicians who want to explore reggae and dancehall styles while remaining rooted in Christ.
“Let your voice be heard.
“I have now embraced my divine calling and continue to use music as a vessel of purpose and power.”
DJ Tecnics said:
“The aim is to promote every artist who has talent. We are incorporating all those who are rising and those who are established.
“Music brings all artists together and that is our main objective.”
Some of the artists who are on the riddim include Apie Tee (Usamu Jaidza), Batiri (Mabhurakwacha), Bliss, Blue GeneS (Title TBA), Boss Love (Ndirwunza Why), Bravdall (Muri Jah Bless), Jerrymun (Handirarre), Kinnah (Wepa Moyo), Laygwan Shakie (Money), Mambo Kutxa (Official Audio), Super Yut (Akui Vangu), Spyn Mugah (Title TBA), Tune Killer (Title TBA), and Silent Killer (2 Tracks).
