Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube, is leading Zimbabwe’s delegation at the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, as the country seeks to position itself at the centre of high-level global economic dialogue.

According to the Ministry, Prof Ncube, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Professor Amon Murwira, held a joint team briefing with officials from their respective ministries ahead of the forum.

The 2026 WEF is being held under the theme “A Time for Dialogue,” reflecting the growing urgency for constructive engagement between political leaders and the private sector amid rising global economic tensions.

The gathering is expected to include about 65 heads of state and government, among them United States President Donald Trump, six G7 leaders, more than 400 senior political leaders from over 130 countries.
