PARIS Saint-Germain (PSG) has emerged as the Premier League’s most formidable adversary in the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League, systematically dismantling England’s elite en route to the final.

Their campaign began with a 4-2 victory over Manchester City, where goals from Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, João Neves, and Matías Ramos overturned a two-goal deficit, showcasing PSG’s resilience and attacking prowess.

In the Round of 16, PSG faced Liverpool. After a 1-0 loss in the first leg, they leveled the aggregate in the return leg and triumphed 4-1 in the penalty shootout, with Gianluigi Donnarumma making crucial saves and 19-year-old Désiré Doué scoring the decisive penalty.

The quarter-finals pitted PSG against Aston Villa. Despite conceding first, PSG responded emphatically with goals from Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Nuno Mendes, securing a 3-1 first-leg advantage.

In the semi-finals, PSG faced Arsenal. After a 1-0 win in London, they secured a 2-1 victory at home, with goals from Fabián Ruiz and Achraf Hakimi, culminating in a 3-1 aggregate triumph.

PSG’s dominance over Premier League teams this season underscores their tactical evolution and depth. As they prepare to face Inter Milan in the final, PSG stands on the cusp of European glory, having conquered England’s finest.
