DC Academy once again proved a benefactor for some Premiership sides as the school of football excellence released three players to Triangle, Buffaloes and Highlanders.
The clubs also took their hunt for “ideal’’ players to the Zifa lower divisions where 13 players were plucked from the “unfashionable’’ leagues.
Tsholotsho FC brought on board unattached players Joel Lupahla, Sizabantu Khoza, and Danisa Phiri, while Tafadzwa Jaravani came in from FC Dutch Academy.
Among the four players registered by league hopefuls Triangle is young Tapiwa Chilenga who joined up from DC Academy.
DeMbare registered seven players, who include Takesure Chinyama, prodigal son Roderick Mutuma and Zivanai Mhanda, who came in from Mushowani Stars.
Struggling Bulawayo giants Highlanders snapped Peter Mudhuwa from Bulawayo Chiefs, Thembinkosi Simango (Ngezi Platinum FC), Obert Tafira (DC Academy), Prosper Matutu from Bulawayo City, while they promoted MacCarthy Dube from their juniors.
However, resurgent Hwange FC opted to look to their juniors and promoted Andrew Tandi and Saymore Nyathi, while How Mine also registered only two, their own players Fungai Chirinda and Louis Matawu.
