The school had its Ordinary level examination results withheld last week by the examination council over allegations of cheating.
In separate interviews, affected students, who requested anonymity, said they were disappointed to find out that the results had not yet arrived at the school, a week after some students from other schools had collected them.
“I was disappointed when the senior teacher told me that no one had got their results yet, as they were not delivered to the school. The reasons for the delay remain a mystery because no one has the courage to tell us the truth,” said a former student, who refused to be named.
Another one said the delay would derail her efforts to find a place for Advanced level. “I wanted to look for an Advanced level place, but as it is I cannot do that because I have not received my results,” she said
This comes, as several other examination centres have not received results in one or two subjects in the Ordinary level results released last week.
Contacted for comment, Zimsec director Mr Esau Nhandara confirmed that results for some schools had been withheld.
He cited cases of Kriste Mambo and Zimuto although several other schools face the same fate. “It is true that Zimsec withheld results for Kriste Mambo and Zimuto High Schools,” he said.
O and A-level examinations for Zimuto are being withheld on suspicion that candidates cheated during practicals.
