MUSABVUNDA Fitness and Lifestyle will play a big role when ZB Sports Club host the Zimswitch KidzCan fundraising marathon race on Sunday.
Over 1,500 athletes are expected to turn up.
Dubbed ‘Run For Hope,’ the marathon will feature three race categories – a 21km run, starting at 6am , a 10km race and a 5km race.
There will also be a 2km fun run.
Proceeds will go to children living with cancer,
Musabvunda Fitness and Lifestyle representative, Kudzanai Pasipanodya, said the race will make a huge difference in the lives of children living with cancer.
“All proceeds will go towards supporting children currently battling cancer and helping to raise awareness about a disease that, while often associated with adults, affects thousands of children worldwide,” said Pasipanodya.
KidzCan Zimbabwe provides assistance to children diagnosed with cancer by ensuring access to essential treatment and diagnostic care.
It is dedicated to increasing the survival rate and ensuring the utmost quality of life of children with cancer.
