Racing returns to Borrowdale

established Alyson Wright yard who stabled in two runners to as many wins on their debut meeting two weeks ago.
Whole Kaboodle by Wright with Quinton Riddle appears to be the horse to beat from the five-year old gelding makes his debut run in Zimbabwe.

Interestingly, Riddle held the straps on the two wins for Wright and with some very strong form from Durban, Whole Kaboodle looks very hard to beat in the Adult FEI Elementary Merit Rated 87 handicap over 1200m.
Competition for Whole Kaboodle could come from former Durban based horse Imperial Dice with Kevin Derere for the Noelene Peech yard.
Peech also send in Phillippian with Donavan Mansour. Another interesting race is the Adult FEI St George Novice handicap where the unbeaten Matlock River (Sherman Brown) takes on the highly thought of fellow three year old Stokes Hill (Donavan Mansour).

Matlock River, under the care of Kirk Swanson, won his debut start very convincingly and with normal improvement could be the horse they all have to beat.
Stokes Hill is rated 1kg under Matlock River, which might just be in his favour to win this race.
It will no doubt be an interesting contest.
