Rapper, Kiernan Forbes, better known as AKA, has declared that he owes the South African Revenue Service (SARS) a whopping R2 million.

AKA made the declaration when he filed legal papers last week in a bid to avoid paying his former manager the R650 000 which he owes.

Raphael Benza, AKA’s former manager has dragged the rapper to court over the R650K which he claims AKA owes to his former record company, Vth Season.

AKA and Vth Season parted ways in July this year and as part of the separation agreement, Supa Mega was meant to pay R650 000 by November 2017, which he has failed to do.

All of this has been revealed by the City Press in an expose over the weekend.

The publication has also revealed that Raphael’s lawyers have filled a contempt of court application against AKA.

“We have been lenient about the payment due because of their cash flow and Sars challenges, but we cannot wait indefinitely. We would like to wrap up the matter as soon as possible,” Raphael told the City Press.— Daily Sun.
