UP-and-coming rapper, Lamas Ellz (real name Lorrance Melvine Nkomazana) has heaped praises on Asaph, describing him as an inspirational figure.
This comes as the two, together with T3rry Tempo are on the verge of releasing a song titled Va Va Voom next week Friday.

Speaking ahead of the song’s release, Lamas Ellz said being in the studio with Asaph was an amazing experience.
“Working with Asaph was amazing as I learnt the importance of being humble, embracing my talent, and being patient all the time. This is because God’s time is always the right time. Asaph himself got to get serious recognition after a long time of hard work and perseverance. He’s such a phenomenal and artistic individual,” he said
Lamas Ellz, the Fere fere singer got into the music scene in 2016 after joining the hip-hop group Street Caution. He collaborated with the late Luveve boy, Cal Vin and since then, he has not looked back.
Have you ever imagined how a song with the late Cal Vin and Asaph would have sounded? Lamas Ellz had that idea too and concedes that the completion of this project is long overdue now as unforeseen circumstances threw spanners in the way.
“It’s taken us two years to accomplish this project. The late Cal Vin was supposed to produce the song, but unfortunately, he passed on before we started recording. It has been hard, the odds stuck against us, but we took it as just a stormy night. Now, we’re seeing the sunshine,” he said.

Va Va Voom, co-produced by Certified Music Records’ Larynx and Black Elly is a celebratory song. The title is loosely translated to enjoying good vibes.
“The song expresses the excitement of all the achievements and good things coming our way as musicians. It’s also a party anthem dedicated to the outdoor-loving millennials who know how to have a good time, especially after a chilly winter,” said the rapper.
The song’s visuals were directed by Keaitse Holdings and will drop on the same day as the audio on YouTube. – @eMKlass_49
