Raylton to host sports festival

Chairman of the organising committee, Samson Bhuza said after a hard year’s work, they felt it prudent that they bring together people from different backgrounds and fields to compete against each other in sporting disciplines like soccer, netball, volleyball, table tennis, lawn tennis, chess, pool, darts, tug of war, draughts and even morabaraba.

“As we wind up the year, we felt the need for various sporting disciplines from the Bulawayo fraternity to gather at one venue and have fun over the weekend. After a hard year’s work, we feel that workers and their families need to relax, refresh and reunite their bodies and souls ahead of the festive season through  fun- filled sporting activities in which winning is not the ultimate goal,” said Bhuza in  a statement. He said organisations like Zesa, Zimra, TelOne, Zimbabwe Republic Police, Bulawayo City Council, Turnall, Delta Beverages, Econet, among a host of others have been invited.
