Reds sign Emre

LONDON. — Liverpool have announced they have completed Emre Can’s £10 million switch from Bayer Leverkusen. Liverpool agreed Can’s move in principle last month and yesterday completed the final paperwork to make the Germany Under-21 midfielder a Reds player.
Can becomes Liverpool’s third signing of the summer, following the capture of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana from Southampton.

Can (20), who was at Bayern Munich, is excited about playing in the English Premier League with Liverpool.

“I am proud to be a part of the family and I am looking forward to playing here,” he said. “I will give it my best.”

Can made 29 Bundesliga appearances last season, scoring three goals, and played seven games in the Champions League. — The Mirror.
