The City of Harare, Government and Oxfam officials met at the city’s Mbare offices on Wednesday to review progress made towards the renovation of Block 1 Shawasha hostels in the suburb.
Ward 4 Mbare Councillor, Boniface Maburutse, said the renovations will include toilets from A4 to C4 and painting.
“From their budget of US$7 500, they have so far bought building materials worth US$3 600,” he said.
“They have promised to buy the rest of the materials next month.”
