Government to protect locals in the retail business against foreigners

Chapfika said, will protect local people in the retail business from high rental charges.
He was speaking during a tour of small businesses in Harare. Mr Chapfika said high rentals worked against Government’s indigenisation drive.
He expressed concern that the transport and retail sectors were still dominated by foreigners as locals are being muscled out of business due to the high operational fees and rentals.
