‘Resurrection’ miracle causes stir . . . as Apostle Chipoyera hosts ‘Night of Miracles, Signs and Wonders’

IT was a Sunday afternoon last week when a sombre atmosphere engulfed the Simbi family as one of their own was on knife-edge, battling for life on an oxygen machine at a private medical centre in the Avenues, Harare.

M

r Gracious Mashasha had lost the battle against kidney and lung ailments. Medical experts told his wife, Ms Ella Simbi, that her husband’s lungs were drowning in three litres of water while kidneys were failing.

As Mr Mashasha’s life was hanging by the thread, doctors informed his wife that it was a matter of hours before he passes on.

Ms Simbi was stuck and pondered the next move. Mr Mashasha, was that particular moment, frothing and showing signs of losing his dear life.

In an act of faith in a desperate situation, Ms Simbi phoned her spiritual father, the Kingdom Prosperity Ministries (KPM) leader Apostle Rodney Chipoyera who then asked her to activate her mobile phone on loud speaker and place her hand on Mr Simbi’s chest.

Apostle Chipoyera spent less than a minute praying for the resuscitation of Mr Simbi’s life.

Much to the shock of Ms Mashasha and health workers, Mr Simbi, whose had withered like a flower, sprang back to full life instantly.

To the glory of God, Mr Simbi was later discharged from hospital and is already recovering well. He even attended a KPM spiritual clinic on Tuesday morning.

This was the narration of Ms Mashasha as she testified of the goodness of God, sparking wild cheers from fellow congregants.

There was ululation and whistling at 99 Parklane, near the Master of High Court as a teary Ms Mashasha told the packed auditorium of the amazing move of God through his faithful servant Apostle Chipoyera.

Mr Simbi also told the church that; “My wife told me that doctors had declared that I was left with just a few hours to live as my health condition was beyond redemption. I had a blackout and found myself in a place I can’t even describe.

“But after prayer over the phone by Apostle Chipoyera, I regained consciousness and even the life support machine started showing signs that I was back to full life. I give glory to God for healing me miraculously.”

This special miracle for God’s glory, is reminiscent of Jesus’ miracle when he called out Lazarus of Bethany from the dead in John 11:1-44.

As if Mr Simbi’s miraculous healing was not enough, God also used Apostle Chipoyera to recover Mr Clive Nyakudya’s stolen vehicle.

Apostle Chipoyera prophesied that Mr Nyakudya would recover his car and within a few days, the thieves were arrested and the vehicle was recovered.

Mr Nyakudya testified before multitudes of believers of how God helped him recover his car.

The new miracles come against a background of recent testimonies including Mrs Maonei Chingaira who was healed of stroke and jumped out of a wheelchair after eight months and that of Ms Farai Mashiri whose continuous bleeding ceased after prayer.

All these miracles are happening during prayer sessions and without laying on of hands, as Apostle Chipoyera emphasises that only the Word of God can heal and deliver people from any kind of problem.

The miracles are happening at a time when Apostle Chipoyera is preparing to host an all-night prayer service dubbed ‘‘Night of Miracles, Signs and Wonders’’ on Friday.

He said, “We encourage anyone who is sick or whose relatives are not well to attend the special service. Bring any situation, blind, lame, dumb, deaf, cancers, HIV. We are believing God for miracles.”
