INCONSISTENT Premiership outfits Black Rhinos and Herentals resume their fierce rivalry when they meet in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Rufaro tomorrow.

Rhinos beat Herentals in the battle for a place in the domestic Premiership in 2016.

The two teams, separated by just a single point, meet at this level for the first time with coaches Herbert Maruwa and Kumbirai Mutiwekuziwa sounding positive ahead of the tie.

“We have been working hard as we look forward to the game against Herentals as we need to come up with a positive result,’’ said Rhinos coach Maruwa.

“The game will be tough as there is no small or big team in the Premier League since we are playing at the same level so we will not take any chances.’’

The former Dynamos assistant coach believes his side is playing good football, but have just been unlucky in front of goal.

“The team is playing well and at times we feel we were supposed to have won by a wide margin, but our conversion rate is letting us down.

“We are looking at our rate of conversion ahead of the match and if we get that right then we will expect nothing short of victory.

“We are trying hard to overcome our shortcomings and I believe we are getting there with each passing practice session,” added Maruwa.

Mutiwekuziwa is also concerned about his charges’ failure to convert chances.

Herentals have scored the least number of goals in the Premiership.

“We have dedicated a lot of work on our shooting in the past several days,” said Mutiwekuziwa.

“It is very disheartening to see your team playing fantastic football, creating good chances, but fluffing them. It is an area which has let us down in our past games.

“The team is playing well and I am sure every team which we have faced can confess to that. Unfortunately, the goals have not been coming.

“We have worked well to try and rectify that and I hope we will deliver against our old foes Black Rhinos on Sunday (tomorrow).

“We have had a fierce rivalry.’’
