SHE has become well known for changing her hair colour and style with eye-catching regularity, mainly using wigs and extensions.
And Rihanna has done it again — but this time appears to have plumped for a somewhat softer look. The 25-year-old singer stepped out on Thursday showing off her new short and curly hairstyle, matching her more natural wavy hair.
The star debuted her new hairdo on a shopping trip to a Neil Lane jewellery store in West Hollywood on Thursday, along with posting several photographs of herself on Instagram.
The new shorter style was a marked departure from her recent tour image, where she appeared on stage in a series of dramatic long colourful wigs.
With her hair slicked down with gel, Rihanna’s curls were tucked behind her ear, with some loose tendrils escaping, while she showed off her toned flat stomach in a grey crop top and black jeans.
However, the star has admitted she is still getting acquainted with her new style.
“Still tryna get used to my hurr, so I threw on some #redlipstick,” she wrote on her Twitter page on Tuesday.
She also tweeted several other shots of herself showing her new barnet looking impeccable despite revealing she was talking some ‘morning pictures.’
One showed her with a backwards baseball cap over her new curls, while another featured her topless with just a diamond necklace and earrings.
Her love of jewellery was made even clearer in another shot which featured the star with an armful of gold and silver bracelets and a glittering necklace.
Currently on a two-month break from her Diamonds world tour, Rihanna was clearly enjoying taking the opportunity to update her image after jetting in from Europe.
She will travel east next month for shows in Macau, Manila and Singapore.
Despite making the most of her temporary break from the tour, Rihanna has ruled out catching up with old flame Chris Brown while she kicks back in Los Angeles.
The on-off couple’s second stab at romance ended earlier this year, but while she’s still fond of Chris pals claim RiRi has no desire to meet up with him any time soon.
“She’s cool on all his drama,” a source told HollywoodLife. “Nobody has time for that. Life is way too short, and it’s just better to cut the losses now and move on.
