Rita Ora’s stunning style

RITA ORAIn addition to her music, she is undoubtedly known for her cutting-edge sense of style. But British-born singer Rita Ora outdid herself in the fashion stakes when she was spotted in a floral tracksuit by Adidas, this week.
The blonde beauty (26) was seen wearing the three-piece ensemble yesterday as she socialised in West Hollywood.

Not content with a matching print T-shirt alongside her top and bottoms, she also wore accompanying trainers for a truly bold look.

Keeping her cool in the California heat, she accessorised with a simple pair of designer sunglasses and a thing, gold chain around her neck. Her hair, freshly cropped into a ‘‘bob’’, looked sharp and stylish against the busy pattern of her outfit.

Of course Rita will probably not have had to pay for her outfit as last year she signed a deal with Adsorb worth a reported £2,5 million.

The collaboration sees her follow in the footsteps of Stella McCartney, who was responsible for Team GB’s Adidas kit during the 2012 Olympics, and David Beckham, another Adidas Originals designer.

The dramatic fashion statement comes just days after Rita was announced as perhaps surprisingly part of the new Marks & Spencer campaign. Shot by iconic fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz, the SS14 campaign also features actress Emma Thompson, supermodel Alek Wek, designer Lulu Kennedy, chef Rachel Khoo and engineer Roma Agrawal.

Launching nationwide on March 31, the latest batch of ‘‘Leading Ladies’’ includes British women from diverse backgrounds and professions, united by personal style and inspirational achievements.

Meanwhile, Rita Ora has likened her new single to Whitney Houston.

The star will launch her second studio album with comeback track ‘‘I Will Never Let You Down’’ which was produced by her boyfriend Calvin Harris and she claims the song is reminiscent of some of the late ‘‘I Will Always Love You’’ legend’s earlier work.

She explained: ‘‘I Will Never Let You Down’’ is obviously a very important song to me because it’s a love song, but it reminds you of Whitney, and that was the vibe we were on.

We just wanted to feel good. You know that feeling of ‘‘How Will I Know’’ with the synth? It just makes you feel happy . . . that’s what I wanted to create.’’

Rita also confirmed she has collaborated with ‘‘Thrift Shop’’ hitmaker Macklemore on her new album.

She gushed to Paper magazine: ‘‘We have this amazing song, ‘‘Young Dreamers’’ with Macklemore and it’s so cool. It’s for the kids, and it’s liberating and so fun.’

The ‘‘RIP’’ hitmaker is determined to crack America with her new album, but admits she is ‘‘scared’’ about taking on the challenge.

She added: ‘‘Conquering America for a UK artist is incredible because that’s what everybody wants and dreams about. The accomplishment is dominating a market which you aren’t familiar with. I am a bit nervous. I am a bit scared, I’ll be honest.’’
