RIVER of Life senior pastor Bothwell Phiri, 57, who made headlines this year for allegedly shooting his son at their place of residence in Kumalo suburb, Bulawayo, in a case of mistaken identity, has had another brush with the law.

This time, the flamboyant pastor was arrested in Harare on charges of fraud after, together with his father-in-law, Peter Brian Juma, conspired to illegally sell a family house.

The pair has since appeared in court and were remanded out of custody on US$100 bail pending the next hearing.
