Roki and Mampi collaborate

Nicknamed “Thunder Thighs” during her stay in the house, on account of the revealing shorts she always dorned, the 25-year-old singer is expected to jet into Harare this afternoon.

She returns to her homeland on Friday.
An elated Mampi yesterday confirmed she would be in Harare for the next two days.
She also revealed that she has Zimbabwean blood.

“I am really excited to come to Zimbabwe which is my second home since my mother is Zimbabwean.
“I look forward to working with Roki on this project and I believe it is going to be the best song to ever come out from Zambia and Zimbabwe,” she said.
Mampi is born of a Zambian father and a Zimbabwean mother who hails from Zvimba.

Bybit Areketa, Roki’s manager, confirmed Mampi’s collaboration with Roki.
“This is in fulfilment of what they promised each other while they were in the house and so Mampi will spend most of her time in studio,” she said.

The two plan to stage a gig in Lusaka, Zambia on July 28.
Roki has so far performed two sellout shows one at the Oliver Mtukudzi’s farewell gig and another in Kwekwe where he thrilled fans. Bybit, however, could not give details of the song that the two former Starmates would record. She however said it would be a pop song.

Roki has released some of his new videos where he features Lovedale “Discord” Makalanga and MC Chita since being booted of the Stargame.
Mampi or “Queen Diva” is known for her raunchy dances and additive music.
