housemates.
Most fans have been asking who are the two contestants to represent Zimbabwe.
Is it Roki and one of his many friends, wives or girlfriends?
Or maybe we are going to see another couple apart from Roki?
It appears that although Roki has been named as a “celebrity housemate” the real housemates will be announced tomorrow.
And just who is up this time?
The reality show starts tomorrow at 8pm on AfricaMagic Entertainment and DStv channel 198.
As one of the major twists in Big Brother Stargame, housemates will compete as pairs.
It could be your mother, father, relative, colleague, spouse or friend, but there will be one winner who will walk away US$300 000 richer.
According to MultiChoice, seven celebrity housemates will be part of the seventh season of Africa’s biggest reality TV show.
“With a US$300 000 winner prize on the table and a new format that sees contestants doubling up to play, the 91 day super-series was already shaping up to be exciting entertainment but this latest twist could take the game to an entirely different level.
“But just who are the stars who will make their entrance when the show launches on Sunday May 6 at 20:00 CAT?
“Each a dynamic go-getter with headlines to prove their fame, if these seven personalities are not already continentally famous, then in a few days, they definitely will be.”
The seven celebrity housemates are stylish entertainer, stand-up comedian and television pro DKB from Ghana (26), tough, talented rap icon Prezzo from Kenya (32), award-winning songstress Lady May from Namibia (25), Boldly dramatic pop music sensation Goldie from Nigeria (28), famed socialite, model and businesswoman Barbz from South Africa (34), unforgettable, highly successful R&B diva Mampi from Zambia (25) and Roki (27) born Rockford Josphats.
As usual Big Brother who is often referred to as Biggie only revealed the names and ages of the celebrities but how they will play the game or fit into the doubles theme, still remains to be seen.
M-Net Africa managing director Biola Alabi said she was pleased with the response the show was getting.
“It’s super to see the high level of interaction STARGAME is getting from fans, media and viewers.
“The guessing around who the housemates will be; people trying to work out what Biggie is planning; the rumours and the speculation; it all adds to the excitement.
“It’s great for the show to get this type of support from the Big Brother community who really do engage with it, even before it starts on air.
“I want to thank them and promise that we’re working hard to deliver a great series.”
Big Brother Stargame is sponsored by Coca-Cola and produced for M-Net’s AfricaMagic by Endemol South Africa.
