Royals in clean-up campaign

LADIES football team Highlanders Royals will embark on a Keep Bulawayo Clean Campaign on Saturday as part of their social responsibility programme.

The Royals have teamed up with two companies a�� Nokel Security and Little Tip Investments for the clean-up campaign meant to show appreciation for the support of the community since the teama��s revival last year.

The ladies team which plays in the Southern Region Womena��s League was revived last year after years in the football wilderness.

a�?Bulawayo has been very supportive of the team and we agreed as a club to embark on a clean-up campaign to raise awareness to keep our city clean. Our entire squad and all executive members will clean streets and alleys. We got cleaning equipment from Nokel Security and Little Tip Investments,a�? said Royals interim chairperson Sibekiwe Ndlovu.

Nokel Security will also provide 20 of its workers to assist in the clean-up campaign while Little Tip Investment will provide five workers.

The team will clean Jason Moyo Street from First Avenue to Fourth Avenue and an alley between Second and Fourth Avenues.
