Renowned fashion designer and model Royce Gavi has made Zimbabwe proud by winning the Best National Costume award at the prestigious Mister tourism Africa pageant in Nigeria.
Gavi’s stunning costume, designed by his fashion house Scarlet Studio of Designs, showcased the country’s rich cultural heritage and highlighted the importance of conservation.
The outfit featured a majestic cheetah design, symbolizing the need to protect Africa’s endangered wildlife.
“I was inspired by my visit to Hwange National Park,l aimed to raise awareness about the uplight of Zimbabwe’s wildlife and promote a positive relationship between humans and animals”said Gavi.

“I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and pride,this award is not just a recognition of my work but also a celebration of our country’s beauty and cultural identity.” he stated.
Gavi’s achievement has sparked widespread celebration in Zimbabwe, with many congratulating him on social media.
Scarlet Studio of Designs is a Zimbabwean fashion house founded by Royce Gavi, dedicated to creating meaningful designs that tell a story.He has dressed some of the country’s top models like the reigning Miss Environment Pauline Marere.
