RTG declares US$1,25 million interim dividend

Rainbow Tourism Group (RTG) has declared an interim dividend of US$1,25 million for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, reflecting the hospitality group’s continued strong financial performance and confidence in its outlook.

 

In a dividend notice issued on 6 August 2026, the company said the interim dividend would be paid as a blend of Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) and United States dollars (USD).

 

Shareholders will receive 0.026 US cents per share and 0.630 ZiG cents per share.

 

The company said the last day to trade cum-dividend will be 26 August 2026, with shares trading ex-dividend from 27 August 2026. The record date has been set for 28 August 2026, while payment of the dividend is scheduled for 7 October 2026.

 

Applicable withholding tax will be deducted in accordance with prevailing tax regulations.

 

“Rainbow Tourism Group Limited (RTG) has declared an interim dividend for the half-year ended 30 June 2026. The dividend declared will be distributed as a blend of Zimbabwe Gold (ZiG) and United States dollars (USD),” said RTG company secretary Tapiwa Mari in the notice to shareholders.

 

RTG also advised shareholders to update their Foreign Currency Account (FCA) and local ZiG bank account details with the transfer secretaries to ensure smooth processing of dividend payments.

 

The interim payout follows the group’s strong operational performance in the first half of the year, as it continues to benefit from improved tourism activity and strategic investments aimed at expanding its regional footprint.

 

The dividend demonstrates RTG’s commitment to delivering value to shareholders while maintaining its growth strategy.
