BORROWDALE Park will host their first race meeting in over six months, with seven races on Sunday.
The races will see some familiar faces getting new roles.
Former Borrowdale apprentice jockey, O’Meara Rusike, who had stint in South Africa, has returned home. He has joined Tomcat Racing, with a view to becoming an assistant trainer.
The new season, which was supposed to begin on August 31, will see former assistant trainers, Vanessa Birketoft of Vee Racing and Debra Swanson of Swanson Racing, upgraded to full trainers.
They acquired their trainers licenses.
