Russian physicians to offer training in maternal, infant healthcare

A TEAM of physicians, sent by the Russian Ministry of Health, will next week conduct seminars and training sessions on protecting the health of mothers, newborns, and children under 5 years old, the Russian Embassy has said.

This training will be held from Monday to Friday next week at Rainbow Towers, the embassy announced in a notice.

The event will be held as part of the international intervention to reduce maternal and infant mortality in countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the former Soviet Union, and in Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America.
