RUWA Golf and Country Club will tomorrow host the inaugural Old Windsor Primary School Golf day.
The tournament is aimed at raising funds to improve the Ruwa-based school. Several individuals and representatives from corporates are expected to take to the field.
In a statement, the school authorities said the preparations for the tournament are taking shape. “Our golf day preparations are taking shape as we have made pleasing strides in terms of securing partnership. It was not going to be easy without the support of the parents.
“We expect golfers to come and enjoy their day and interact. “This will be one of our initiatives to raise funds and the sponsors also promised good prizes for the winners.
“This year’s edition will make a difference and we have good prizes for the winners.
“The tournament is aimed to raise funds for developing several structures at the school,” said the statement.
